Fridate

We (me, h2b, his parents & their family friend) were supposed to visit Dangwa last Friday. But their family friend (who had a flower business) cancelled at the last minute. Well... they informed us the night before but I still think it was a late notice. Anyways, we ended up just visiting the church (luckily there was a mass so we got to see the inside of the church once again). H2B's parents accompanied us as well to our reception venue but unfortunately the hotel was booked so they weren't able to see some of their rooms. There was also a function on-going at the ballroom so they also did not get to see the ballroom. Hehe!

Since it was almost lunch time, we decided to eat at McDonald's which was just walking distance to the hotel. As we were walking we saw another restaurant. H2B thought it was a cafeteria for employees of the hotel. It turns out it was a cafeteria-styled restaurant run by Josiah's Catering. So we went in and gave it a try. I think the prices were reasonable. They had meal deals which costs 80pesos for one viand, unlimited rice and dessert. The food taste isn't so bad either. But a major no-no for me is serving food that isn't warm. I assumed since the food are in chaffing dishes that they would be warm enough. Its just weird that I get to eat Kare-Kare that isn't warm. Hehe! But nonetheless, this makes another option for suppliers meal and also our lunch during wedding preps. Instead of ordering from nearby McDonald's we might just order here at Kitchen Basic.
